ABOUT WOMEN'S MINISTRY...
Welcome to the Women’s Ministry of Vast Church in beautiful Sisters, Oregon! Our desire is to provide a place for women to nurture and be nurtured. Our hope is to build connections and community for the women of Vast. We also recognize the need for you to not just learn about our Savior but to KNOW Him in a personal way. God has created each of us uniquely, but each of us has an inner desire to know our Creator. We at Vast want to provide a variety of ways for you to get to know Him.

VOLUNTEERS FOR WOMEN'S MINISTRY
We need women to serve who have a love for Christ and a heart to come alongside other women to encourage and build up the body of Christ. We need women to use their spiritual gifts and passions in the following areas:
From prayer, to study, to mentoring, to helping out, to just spending time together…we need each other.
ABOUT ROBIN GERKE
My husband, Jeff, and I have lived in Sisters twice. We moved back to Oregon in August 2019. Shortly after moving here, we decided that our church home would be Vast. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Jeff and I have 3 children, Sophie (13), Nathan (20), and Grace (25, who married the man of her dreams last year). Jeff and I have been married 31 years and have been friends for almost 40. We love spending time together and with family.
Just so you know, we are always on the lookout for the best Mexican food and great burgers.I don’t have a memory without Jesus. I often refer to myself as a “pew biter,” because I was doing the church thing since I was one month old. I gave my life to Him when I was 6. However, living for Christ has been a marathon not a sprint. I am learning to live one day at a time. Moment by moment. Right now, God is teaching me to live with humility, to love Him with my whole heart, and to love others as I go.
The Romans Study was written by women at Good Shepherd Community Church. This is an inductive Bible study (reading Scripture and making observations, led by questions), meant to lead women into the foundations of the Christian faith as revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
